Just got my first Yemen this morning, I have had his viv up and running about a week before I collected him this morning. He is approx 3 to 3 and a half inches long and he has a bit of shed still stuck to his head, should I leave this alone and let him rub it off or should I give it a helping hand?

Also what is the best way to feed the little fellow his crix and how many crix should he be eating and how often ie feed twice daily or once a day.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Congrats on your yemen! You should leave his shed. It will come off in a day or so and its normal.

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on your new baby. Don't pull at the shed it will come off on it's on as Rocky said. You should feed him as many 1/4 crickets as he wants a day (10-15 or so) You could also give him a superworm as a treat and silkworms are great for him. Below is a link that will tell you all about raising a veiled and keeping your little guy healthy and happy. Jann
