purchased this female from a nearby pet shop. i dont think she was too healthy at the time of purchase (1.5 months ago) but she seems to be doing better as i've been trying to nurse her back to good health. I dont know the age of the cham, but i figured someone on here would be able to help me out. i usually feed her wild crickets, domestic crickets, butterworms, superworms, moths, catydids, and grasshoppers. i have fed her an earthworm once or twice but i am not sure if earthworms are a good feeder for chams? also, what do you think of my setup? i know i need a new cage soon but im still debating on whether to build or buy one on here in the classifieds. all replies are appreciated

Judging by the size and colors I would say a 11- 13 months. Most pet stores do not take that great of care for Chams specifically because they are so high maintenance and need a lot of attention. Unless it's a smaller store that's well known for having chameleons. Good thing you saved her. That's what I did with mine :) what kind of housing was she in at the store? It could help diagnose why she felt sickly when you first got her. A lot of Cham illnesses lay dormat such as respiratory. MBD is the same, then quickly aggressive. I suggest you find a vet in your area experience in reptiles. Have it checked out for MBD, mites, and respiratory.
