New Troops on the Way

:D Well, Tuesday is the day!. I ordered a male Jackson and a male Veiled over a month ago. FLChams. I then ordered two 2x2x4 screen cages, cleaned up sheffelleras, pothos and a hibiscus for the veiled. Placed lattice for Pathos and vines and ropes in cages. I got a 36 inch 5 UVB light with a place for three standard base bulbs. Have a 40w in Andrew's cage (Jacksonii) and a 40w and 60w in John-Paul;s cage (Veiled). Put in a Big Dripper and sprayer for now. Raindome will come. I elevated the hibiscus on a block to get more light. I put in a two bulb 6500 T8 fixture hung above cages for the plants. Lights and eventual Raindome are on 12 on, 12 off timer. I placed a vinyl panel between cages. The cages are located against a 4x4 fixed window with a ceiling fan and light above them. Get morning sun. The humidistat has it at about 75% and 95o in basking area for Veiled, 90o for Jackson. Well into low 80s in lower area of cages. Got an infrared thermometer today. Cheaper than several analogs. I have a PVC pan in bottom of cages, will add drains if I get Raindomes.
Today I moved a colony of about 1,000 pinheads to a grow up dish, bought fifty small cricks to feed, bought Superworms, started a dozen in breeding divided box, remaining 38 to feed.
I bought a new colony of adult crickets to lay eggs in peat like last ones. They will hatch about when I run through 1m new ones coming. I have Dubias coming. Have breeding tub ready.
I have Calcium liq without D3, Calcium powder with D3, Multiamin powder. Will gutload with good food, veggies. I will be using tap water treated with decalcifier, dechlorinater.

Sixty-Four year old Stage 4 esophegeal cancer serviver disabled vet newbee. Been around critters all my life.

If I have overlooked anything, let me know. Studied it steady for weeks. Enjoy Forum.

I realize the Jackson will want it cooler. Area is in large Sunroom I typically do not air condition it. May have to find a way to cool it. Blog said they will often spend less time under basking light and require more hydration. I will make that happen first, then figure out cooling their space. I live in Florida so cool is hard to find. Too hot outside and very warm inside all the time.
