I have just gotten my baby veild cham two days ago. (Sneaky Peat) Was wondering how long to let him settle in befor cleaning his place? I had it all set up for 4 days befor getting him to make sure humidity was ok and heat, at night it was going down to 63, i have been using a night light that the store gave us is this ok?

Hello, welcome to the forum If there is something specific to clean (like poop) then clean it out, we call this 'spot cleaning'
You should be able to do a little cleaning and watching of him while offering food and water without disturbing him too much, but usually it's best to let them settle in for a week before taking them out.
Night lights are not a good idea, they can disturb Chameleons sleep (even if it's the red ones) if you need additional night time heating it's much better to use a ceramic heat emitter. 60F is not too low for a Veiled though, I wouldn't bother heating above 60 myself...........

Thanks very very much for the info ! Will not use the night light, and thanks for the link to that site very helpfull. Glad i found Chameleon Forums! Have looked at alot of info before getting him. Alot says to do something and lots say not to! So thanks again for the info
