Your husbandry is very important if you want it to do well.

We need a bit more information though...how old is the chameleon? Is it male or female?

Hi it is a male we have currently got a zoomed chameleon habitat mesh cage 16x16x30 whilst he is juvenile (we will upgrade) lots of branches and plants and hiding places, tomorrow i am fetching a dripper for water for the lil guy been misting with a spray bottle today, (shud i continue spraying when i have dripper) have a thermostat keepin basking hight at 30/31 a 5.0 uvb bulb and a 60w heat bulb for temp a few plastic plants and 1 live atm to help keep moisture in there think thats all

Yes, spray him indirectly some if he will tolerate it. They like it when they are warm and will drink and clean their eyes. Let the cage dry between mistings. I would get a misting system as soon as you are able. It will make everything easier. A good digital hygrometer thermometer is important to help monitor.

If you did well with the beardie you should be OK with the chameleon...supplementing, feeding/gutloading the insects, etc is basically the same.
