New Plants

Just picked up two Gold Capella's and I was wondering what is the best way to get any hard water spots off the leaves. I'm planning on having my mistaking spray distilled water but want to make sure there is not anything harmful on the plant. Anything I should do with the soil as I heard either covering it or replacing to top half with organic soil without chemicals.

What do all of you do to prep new plants going into you chameleons enclosure?

Thank You!

You can put a thick layer of either dead or live moss on the top soil of the plant. If you are going to start to use distilled water them don't worry about the water spots they will come off over time from spraying them. Check for bad bugs and I would find a bunch of ladybugs and put them on it for a day or two, shake them off the plant and you will be aphid free. (get all the ladybugs off, I believe they are mildly toxic). Make sure you have about 4 inches from the top of the plants to the basking light.
