New panther

Hey all so ill be getting a couple of new panthers soon, but I won't haven any idea what locality they are or what sex, I was just wondering if you guys and girls could give me the basic run down with panthers, like on what to look for when sexing them as babies and also determining what locality they are, thanks for all the help peeps

Hello and welcome to the forums. Why will you not know their local? Whatever someone tells you from a picture is just a guess unless they are wild caught. and male. Here's a link to learn some on sexing babies, adults are easy.

You can guess a local with adult or sometimes juvenile males, but never with females. They are very alike.
You will probably never be 100% sure with males locality, if you don't know the breeder, or (if they are WC) where were they caught.
Sexing is posiible even with babies, if you post pictures of them here, some exeprienced keepers will help you out.

Ok thanks for all the help, ill have 11 to choose from and I'm going to get 2 so I really wanted to try and pick a pair, will just see how I go, ill keep you posted and when I get them ill post pics for your guys/girls to help with the sexing

If I were you I would try to get only boys. Do you know if they are pure breed? You can always buy a female later from a reputable breeder, so you know for sure what local she is.
Of course you can always breed them not knowing what they are and get a cross. It could be fun not knowing what babies will look like, but might be difficult to sell.
