New Loki Pics (Instagram)

Loki had a big day out of the cage yesterday. He crawled all over me, the curtains, a FR Ficus, and my xbox controller. Because it rarely happens, it makes the moments all the more special. So of course I had to snap a million pictures.

These are all Instagram pictures. I think the non-filtered pics look much better, but it was too complicated to send all of them to my laptop. Transferring pictures gets difficult when you have too many.

Now I decided to do something a little special with this one. The first pic is of Loki right out of the box. The second was taken yesterday. These are the only two I have of him on my hand. I thought it would be cool to see how much he's grown since April.

I work very hard to keep him happy and healthy. Loki has such a relaxed and loving personality. I wouldn't trade him for the most beautiful Chameleon in the world! I never thought one Chameleon would be "enough" for me. He is all perfect, and all I ever wanted.

Yeah Matt! What's wrong with people? Instagram is where it's at. I'm able to keep up with some of my favorite Chams (and people) from Chameleon Forums on Instagram. You losers without it are missing out. Get to it people!

Hahaha! That was a totally candid picture. My controller is always on my bed, because I have an addiction. He crawled all the way down my leg, and chilled on my controller.

Hahaha! That just made my night!

I used organic soil and ended up with a horrid gnat infestation. DO NOT use organic or you will find yourself in the insect apocalypse! Trust me, my bedroom was taken over by millions of those suckers.

I tried everythinggg. Nothing was working, so my last resort was to just stop watering it. I threw out all of my other plants, and kept the one Ficus. They finally stopped spawning in the soil, and committed suicide in my drinks and drainage system. Lol. I rarely water the Ficus now. When I do I end up seeing another one or two of those nasty insects flying around my room. It's still alive.. but leafless and sad.

I plan on re-potting it eventually. I refuse to let some stealthy gnat lay nasty babies in my newly re-potted Ficus again. I feel like fresh soil is just asking for trouble. I need to be sure they are all dead. I will not live through that nightmare again!

I repeat.. never use organic soil!

I am glad you have a good sense of humor!! I was hoping you would not take offense. It was just that you said you had a FR Ficus and I kept looking for it in the pictures! lol

Haha! I got the demo the other day. I've heard so many good things about it, so I was curious. I really enjoyed it! I felt like I was playing a throwback to the old school games.
