new Jacksons/veiled what will i need

I'm getting my first chameleon on the 29th at the manassas expo. I'm getting or making a 2'x16.5"x 38-40" is that an ok size for a jacksons or veiled? which would you recommend i get?. theres a kit on lllreptile, heres the link http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog...-cage-packages/-/65-gallon-chameleon-package/ but i was wondering if that tank was tall enough if its not then i would make the tank like i said. also is this a good kit? i would get a dripper and a small tree (probably ficus) could you also recomend some safe plants?

thanks so much for all the help

welcome to the cham community, dont mean to burst any bubbles, but the reality is, jackson's arent a good choice for a starter chameleon, veileds are just hardier and easier to keep

Get a male veiled, they're fun :) Check out the site that Brad gave you. The bigger the cage the better preferably AT LEAST a 2'x2'x4' for an adult male, smaller for a young one.

Welcome to the wonderful world that is chameleons.
