New Huge Enclosure - Misting System Question!

Hello Everyone!

With the new enclosure that we recently built for Chevy I am wondering if I need to adjust the misting system and I would like to know if I should have it on throughout the night in sleep time?

I have it set for every 4 hours and run for 60 seconds.

I have mine runnning from 10 am to 6 pm every 2-3 hours for 1 minute, no nighttime mistings, even tough i believe that in the wild it might rain at night, lol

It somewhat depends on what type of chameleon you have, but I would suggest at least one longer session in the morning to allow time for drinking and eye cleaning. I have a Jacksons in a heavily planted 3ft x 2ft x 6ft cage. My misting schedule:

15 minutes at 8 am
5 minutes at 10:30 am
5 minutes at 1:00 pm
10 minutes at 3:30 pm
5 minutes at 6:00 pm

In the summer when the sun rises extra early, I add 5 minutes at 7:00 am. I don't adjust for daylight savings time, and I have a very efficient drainage system. This goes through about a gallon a day and keeps humidity spinning throughout the day for the higher humidity Jackson's need.

He is a veiled chameleon. Should I leave off at nighttime?
