What's up guys, been checking out the site for a while now and finally got around to registering after I just received my baby veiled from flchams. I also have 2 1 year old iguanas so I'm very familiar with the reptile world. I actually bought petco's last chameleon from them three days ago but he wasn't using his front legs so I brought him back so he could go to the vet and they gave me a refund (my girlfriend is going to buy him back from petco when he's done with the vet). Anyway my new buddy came yesterday from ups and I decided to go and buy a few things from the pet stores. I got him a screen cage, basking lamp/uvb hood, basking bulb, reptiglo 5.0, a waterfall, and some fake plants to hold him over until I can get to buying him some real ones tomorrow. I also had a leftover fogger from my iguana setup so I put that in there too. Right now there is fake moss as substrate, which I may takeout or replace with something better if anyone can recommend something seeing as though I've been told a lot of different things. Last but not least so me pictures!!
Here's the first guy I got from PetCo:

Welcome to the forum. You need to read about chameleon care on the forums do a search veiled chameleon care most chameleons need no substrate only to lay eggs. Also don't buy sick chameleons weather they take them to a vet or not they wont make it and you need to have a good healthy chameleon to start off with to have success. Go to the top of the general discussion page ( this one) and read the general care of true chameleons it's written by Brad.
