Am introducing a new family member, Scout -- Chesapeak Retriever. Adopted from Humane Society last weekend. He has completed his 7dy trial and is officially a member of the household.
We lost Maggie, due to kidney failure in Feb., and Odie to liver cancer in April. Both were wonderful companions of 8 and 12yrs respectively. They left a huge hole in our hearts. Maggie came into our home as an adult rescue and Odie was a pup rescue.
Scout is ~ 9-10 mo and is due to be neutored this Friday. He is an amazingly well behaved dog but does get excited with the reptiles. Any suggestions on helping him to quiet on that area? He is learning the "leave it" command but at some time Pete (dragon) and The Dude (bluey) would like to roam the house again unmolested, and the chams would like to hang around in their plants again as well.
I also attached a pic of Millie-Tillie-Reptar just for Syn. Not the best shot but she way healthy.
