I'm so excited! I'm getting a chameleon from FlChams as suggested, from one of their quality veiled bloodlines. The little guy is coming tom. I will post pics soon.:D

I just got him today!!! He's very healthy and shows good signs. Thank you FL Chams! Only problem is that he's tired and hasn't eaten for 16 hrs since he was shipped. Trying to feed him

Just put him in his cage with the right size crickets and a few mistings and let him acclimate. He will be fine. Let's see some pics!

Here are some pics of the chameleon and habitat. :)

BTW, my profile pic is a pic of my chameleon's father. So, i'm expecting beautiful coloration from this guy.

I'm trying to put a hibiscus in there. The plant in the middle of my pic grows to about 4 feet in 2 months. How do you guys water the plants without making your cage floor soggy?

You will need some sort of drainage from misting, dripp[ing and watering the plants. Hibiscus do not live well inside. They require allot of sun.

They are also hard to care for...well IMO they need more attention.

I'm using an umbrella plant for now and its working out great...My cham loves sleeping all the way at the bottom under the leaves. :D

Maybe I should get an umbrella plant...I'm just going to put a tub under the pot, so it drains into the tub.

Is it normal for him not to eat? He hasn't eaten since almost 2 days ago... I put medium crickets in his cage, and tried to hand feed him with superworms.

Make sure the feeders are not to big for him. They should be no biger than the space between his eyes.

Yes!!! It finally ate! I am really excited! It waited for me to close the cage door, then shot it's tongue! Than's for all your support guys, I really appreciate it. I also got the umbrella plant as suggested, so it looks like I have just about everything for my cham. Thanks again!:D

Sorry, he does deserve to be called a he. He's to cool to be an "it". Anyway, he's 3 months old, and looks pretty amazing. He's supposed to become turquoise with yellow and green. I can't wait for him to grow!

His name is Calyptrox. I made his name using his scientific name. I'm not good at naming pets.
