Hi there and welcome to the forum. Can you please post a picture of the enclosure from the lights down and of the chameleon?

Well a few issues with the enclosure.
1. it is on the floor. They prefer height so they are over you. So it should be up on a table.
2. No, live plants to hide in or drink off of. They need full cage of plants going up to the basking level. that you can spray down. https://chameleonacademy.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Chameleon-Plants-122819.pdf
3. Sticks look tiny and not very secure. You need something like dragon ledges to mount branches or plants with pots to shove larger sticks into and then zip tie horizontal ones to these.

Do you have pics of the Chameleon? I can just barely see him down there. Should not be handling him at all right now.

what are the temps at the basking level? and what are you using for UVB a t8 or t5? what bulb strength?

Yeah he was I noticed he was a bit thin before I got him... he has been eating, the first day he ate about 4 dubia roaches, the next day he ate about 3 and yesterday he ate 3, and then today he ate 2.
I am measuring his temp with a heat gun.

@brostars123 Could you please fill out this form for me with as much detail as possible?

I recommend a wired probe at basking with temp gauge to know exact ambient temp rather then surface temp.

Where did you get him at?

hi! so when you first get a chameleon you should leave it alone for a couple of days to allow it to get comfortable with its cage because it's already stressed out a lot with the new environment and everything so I would recommend to stop handling your cham for a couple of days (even though I know its hard). Beman already covered the rest of my suggestions so I'm not gonna repeat anything! ?
