New Chameleon Owner Bulging eye ?

Hi, i have had my Veiled Chameleon for just over 4 weeks. a few minutes ago i was misting her and she ran off the branch up into the plant i have in the tank, she bulged her eye and started rubbing it on the leaf. could it be the water i sprayed on her got in her eye? i was misting her because she is starting to shed

Yes, most likely that is what happened. It is no big deal and will not hurt her to get water in her eye.

Chameleons bulge the eyes out while they are trying to clean them so as long as it goes back to normal size after its okay.
