I'm picking up a panther chameleon that has a squniting eye and was wondering what it could be. The eyes are not sunken in or show any other ailments. Any thoughts would be helpful before I pick him up.
I'm not too sure. I personally use a T5 for all of my chameleons and then they get some natural sun from 2pm until sundown and that what he will be living in.
I know from my personal experience my chameleon has a squinty eye and it was just to using a 10.0 bulb and lack of vit. A. Just make sure he gets the appropriate vitamins Calcium without D3 everyday Calcium with D3 about twice a month and just monitor how much UVB he's getting. Thats just from my personal experience
Yeah, as I said, this is not one of my chameleons. I am picking up this one tomorrow and want to make sure there is no lingering problem. I have some Jackson's that look amazing and doing awesome in my care.
