So I picked up this guy with a complete setup and later realized how bad he was off, the lady said she had him for a year but he is pretty small I believe. Let me know if I need better pictures ImageUploadedByTapatalk1438224840.058897.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1438224850.783285.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1438224863.575678.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1438224874.417232.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1438224885.533313.jpg

Welcome to the forums. You have a veiled chameleon. Most likely a female from the size of the casque and color. Check the heels on both back feet and if the heels both have a bump called a spur then it's a male, no bumps then you have a female. Females lay eggs without a male even being around and if you have a female you need to provide her with a laying bin. If she doesn't have a laying bin she can become egg bound and die. Below is my blog for new keepers. This is how I recommend keeping veileds to have success with them. If you have a female I will post some additional links with female and egg laying info.

Thanks, she is a female. I already had the basking spot and the uvb lights going( I also have 2 sulctatas). For her size should she stay in the 18x18x24 cage I have or I also have on order a 24x24x48 cage. Also would it be feasible to get a Juvie male, as in could they live together. you never mentioned age? Is it determinable, I'm just afraid she wasn't kept properly, actually I know she wasn't, if stunting can occur
