New Carpet girl

This pretty little thing is my new female from Dooley, who arrived here Tuesday safe an sound. She's a little nervous so I only had her out for a few short minutes of sunshine and photos. But Camimom already told me she was going to hurt me if there weren't any photos by the end of the week, so here they are lol

Oh, and her name is Desdemona. I decided to go with Shakespearean names for my Carpets. Should have named her Bianca but it's one of my middle names, so it felt vain. Don't know how many people are familiar with Othello and know what I'm talking about...

Do it, they are SO cute. I love how their faces are a little rounded and I like their size. After having these and my panther female I realize how heavy my Daedalus is, and how painful his grip is! lol

I'm thinking about it, but I'm on the list for three other chams so we will see. I am REALLY hoping that i can get one though. I love how vivid their colors are. Especially that they aren't Panthers! What do you house them in.?

I'm happy to see she's settling in to her new home so nicely. She looks great. Thanks for posting pics for Dad. :)

I have them each in wood cages I built years ago for cresties originally. They measure something like 24" x 16" x 16" and have a wooden back, two screen sides + the top, and an acrylic door. They should be good in there for a while longer before I upgrade them to their permanent homes.

No problem! You'll probably see many more threads like this. Now that it's nice and warm down here again I'll be able to have everyone outside more often for sun and photos. Thanks again for her!

She is gorgeous Olimpia! Everyone is getting new chams! Love it!:D

Must be a spring thing lol And thank you!

Phew! I was scared I wasn't going to make the deadline!

haha Thanks! It wouldn't surprise me if you give in soon ;) You're accumulating quite the zoo over there recently!

Oh Olimpia! She is such a little cutie! I so love the carpet girlies, they are on my wish list right under the Jacksons, and now I have Monty, Panthers and Carpets are on my list instead!:D

Thanks! And she's only going to get better :D

Tiff, I hope you have luck finding everything you want. I know it's more difficult over there. But I've heard that the UK has gotten fresh panther blood, so perhaps you'll be able to get more panthers soon enough.

What a beautiful new girly you have. If you get one from Kevin, they are always lovely. My sis has eggs from her right now.

Haha! Im not allowing my self to get anymore after the faly girl (which may or may not happen)

however, carpets are the next ones on the list after these guys...

I swear!!!!

I'm gonna get the hoe, then a carpet, then the falys. And youre getting a faly too! Lol. :)

I really want a carpet though. So cute.

Omg, gorgeous! I LOVE her!!
I'm always jealous of your Chams. Knock it off, would ya? ;)

Funny coincidence, I've been daydreaming over carpet pictures recently. Lol. and you got her on the same day I brought home my new girl. :)

Funny thing is her ridge/spine, I never noticed them being so prominent in any of the pictures I looked at before of carpets, but in that one picture it really seems to stand out. I guess maybe I was always too distracted by the awesome patterns? Or, you know, I could be a year overdue for new glasses... Lol! (like, cmon, who has money to spend on glasses when there are chameleons to be had, am I right fellas? )

Haha thanks!

It's true, they have quite the little "fin" going on. I am loving them, they are so cute and small. But the glasses thing is true, I should replace my pair of glasses but who wants to spend $100-200+ on a pair when everyone is hatching out baby chameleons? Not us, apparently! lol
