Got my new cage in and I believe I am already for my little guy. Just have to wait for the right time to ship him. I attached pictures. Please feel free to comment or critique. The plant is a pink lady hibiscus, I have a 75 watt spot lamp for heat and a reptisun 5.0 fluorescent tube.

I am not too sure how well hibscus do indoors. Usually any plant that flowers needs a good amount of sunlight, I have a Sheffelera in mine that does awesome. also, I might add a few vines in there and maybe a horizontal branch. I would maybe put the horizontal branch under the basking light, but if you do, make sure it is around 6 or 7 inches from the light so your cham does not get burned. Other than that, the cage looks great!

Hibiscus needs alot of direct sun, so it usually doesnt do very well indoors. Others on the forum that have hibiscus usually have 2 and keep one in the enclosure and one outside, when the one indoors starts to wilt a little they swap it with the one outside. If you are just going to keep the enclosure indoors id suggest getting a ficus or an umbrella tree those do well indoors

I could totally be incorrect about this, but I do not see any drainage, which may become a problem in the future with a misting system. I would also attach some vines and foliage around the bottom of the cage too. It looks great though! We use pothos and shefferla (umbrella plant) in our cages and they have been great so far. Can't wait to see what you get!

Yes I would have to agree with the others. Especially on the drainage. Tuber-wear and other plastic storage containers can be put under the enclosure the catch and drain the water. It is better to work out a drainage system before you get the cham then to add this later when the cham is trying to adjust to its new home. Also, adding a drainage system will keep you from having to take out the tuber-ware and dump the waste water everyday.
