New cage questions

So im getting a new diy cage that is 24x24x36. Do i need one of those trays to put at the bottom or do the come with a botttom?

My repti breeze came with one. But Idk about DIY cages but if they don't that's kinda weird

Do you mean a drainage tray? It comes with a plastic bottom but not a drainage tray. Some people use them, some use other ways of getting rid of the excess water. I don't use them but I do use an alternate drainage system.

So it should come with a plastic bottom? So if i just drilles holes where my plant sat the water should drain?

Yep but you may want to have a pan under the cage with a whole in it just in case the water goes out the sides of the cage
