I think a mini tree is a great idea. They provide a lot of branches to explore and cover. I personly had a hybiscus tree in my cage( they need a lot more sunlight than I could provide so it is outside now) and Randal loved it. I have a fake tree now, still a lot of space and she likes it but I hope to get more live plants.
ALSO I highly don't recommend the spruce tree and anything like it. The Cham won't be able to push through the thick branches. You need something That has open space between the branches like most trees so the Cham can use it.

Very lovely maxamillion loves the trees outside when I take him out to bathe in the sun which got me thinking of planting a mini tree would be a good idea or not
