Meet Gus (named by my Husband at first sight-he names everything!). Gus looks remarkably good, and HUGE, despite the fact he has not been raised under UVB and is a year old. He was supplemented thank goodness.

I was told it was male, and on visual sexing I was 90% sure, but he just caught sight of my female and the beard went black and the head bobbing began. I just set up a visual barrier so he can settle in. There won't be any breeding for awhile!

He does look good for not having UVB for a year. Did he at least get some natural? Best to you in acclimating him -- I am sure you will do well. And yep, black beard and head bopping is definate testrone. Different rooms are best but know they are aware of what's in the house, particularly if you do any free ranging. I love beardies -- they are way sweet.
