New Baby Veiled & UVB Basking

First, here are some photos of my baby Male Veiled (Milo):

He arrived on Tuesday (11/11) from FLchams and is a Driskel baby. Mike sent me a larger baby, since I only had an adult cage. He is around 5-1/2" nose to end of tail. Does this sound like a 2 month old or is he possibly older, maybe 3 months?

Sorry, back on track. He's been eating (calcium w/o D3) dusted crickets, drinking and spends a lot of time basking under the heat bulb. He does roam around his cage every so often. Here is a photo of his 2'x2'x4' DIYcages cage:

I have a 53W incandescent bulb in the back left, a 6500K 24W CFL in the back right and a 24" T5 Reptisun 5.0 across the front, it's off in the picture. The 1st day, he ventured to the branch under the UVB bulb, but I haven't seen him go there since. Should I be worried that he's not laying under the reptisun bulb?

Congratulating on your new Cham! Milo is a little cutie. I wouldn't worry about him not hanging out under the UV. He'll go to it when he need UV. I would recommend adding another live plant to your enclosure. It looks a little bare.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping. I'll have to see what plants are available and how I'd go about adding it. I was hoping the pothos would grow into the rest of the cage.
