Ok so yesterday I tried for the first time to take my little girl out of her cage, and she freaked, opened mouth fired up and eventually ran away.I've seen the videos on how to take a cham out.So what is the best way to get her used to the idea of climbing onto my hand so that i can do a deep cleaning?Any advise would be great!!!

Open her cage door and put a tree next to it. Watch from a distance and see if she'll climb out on the tree. Once out of the cage she shouldn't be so freaked.

I'll try that, but don't have a extra tree, will a stick work as well you think?Once out will a 1 1/2 foot deep container be well enough to keep her in while I clean her cage?

Sure a stick will do, and whatever keeps her from climbing out, but try to leave the stick in the temp container. Mine hates to be just on the floor, their feet arn't good for it. :)

I have found that if I wait until mine climb onto the door of their cage, then open it and offer a hand to climb onto, they are more likely to climb onto that hand without getting too upset about it. It usually only works while they're pretty young, but once they get used to the idea of you handling them occasionally, it should get easier. :D
