Evening All,

So, had hte lil guy for almost 2 weeks now. He has been eating well and completed a shed. So, it is time for his big boy home!

Started by building a simple 2x4 stand. Added a piece of trim to the back side to tilt the cage forward a bit to help drainage.

Picked up a DIY Cages 2x2x4. attached some aluminum to the top and placed the mister nozzles into it.

Also added a piece of aluminum tubing that I could hang the pothos from.

Got the cage up on the stand and added a number of branches with push pins and zip ties.

Add a gutter on the front for the cage to drain into:

Add a big Pothos, and here we are!

I am thinking I may need a bit more climbing branches at the top of cage, perhaps another fake vine as he is not able to get any closer than 8" to the UVB bulb.

Other than that, I would love some feedback and suggestions. He is pretty upset at the moment so I intend to leave him alone a couple of weeks and let him settle in.

Cage is out in my 'fish room' where I have a number of aquariums and coral grow out tanks. Temp stays between 73-83 and a humidity of 65%. (Forgive the hole in the wall, going to replace some insulation in there!)

Thanks for looking.

Bobby

Gutter

How does the gutter in the front work. Are the screens on an angle to drain? It's hard to tell from the photos.

The whole cage is at a slight angle forward. If you look in the first pic you can see the back of the cage is slightly lifted, this helps the water drain forward on the PVC bottom. The front lip of the cage is set over the edge of the stand above the gutter so the water drains into it.
