Need quite or just privacy??

Does a gravid female need quite as well as privacy or is complete privacy enough with a fair amount of background noise? i have a 25 day gravid veiled. she is showing no signs of wanting to lay eats lots still hangs at top of cage.
there is a 10"x14" 7" deep container filled to top with sand and peat in her cage never has showed signs of interest in it.
I also cannot feel any eggs but she was defnitley bread 25 days ago showed gravid colors for bout first 10 days and now when she see's mail she turns black with yellow spots.

Any ideas would be great starting to get a bit worried.

Sounds gravid to me-and normal. Mine never lay til after day 30 and they stop eating before they lay usually, so she probably just has a few days to go. Once they stop eating I cover the cage all the way around so they cannot see me. Noise doesn't bother them.
