Need Help with humidity and Temp

The average temp is 80 to mid 80s for her basking area and the humidity is usually any where from 50 to 60. Does this seem about right? Or should I bring the temp and humidity up?

Just as another tid bit of info. Since she is a female, you can drop that basking temp to 82-86 degrees. Even as she gets older, that temp will suffice.

Not so much lowering the temp as keeping it in the low to mid 80's. To simplify, the higher the temps the more eggs she will produce. Keeping the temps low will keep her clutch sizes much smaller, which in turn will extend her life.

Yes I follow her on here. I'll definitely check it out! Thanks much. I'm always down to learn more and better my chams health. I'm hopefully starting vet school with in the next 6 months so I'm a huge geek for all of this!

That's awesome! I hope you do great in your school.
Thanks! First step is finding an affordable and local program with in the state of Indiana. If you or anyone actually has any info that'd be awesome. I have been looking into a few schools so far and haven't seen anything outstanding.

Gotcha, so you're trying to find a good school for your undergraduate degree to prepare you for Veterinarian School. I'm guessing you are going to major in Biomedical Sciences or something of the like. Indiana University Bloomington has a good program for Medical Sciences. Just a suggestion.

Yes! I have heard tho that the schools can be very particular to whom they take. Any truth to that?

I can't tell you one way or the other on that, but never let what you hear keep you from applying. I would make a trip to the university and talk with an advisor. They can help you through the entire admissions process.
