Need help with Drinking water

Hey Everyone I just picked up my first chameleon (Joey). He is a Panther Chameleon, I have had him in his home for about a week now. Of course I want to make sure he is happy and well taken care of so I have been reading and researching more and more. Currently I feel he is doing well I see him very active and eating when I place his food. However Im concerned he isn't getting enough water. I have a monsoon 2 hose set up. The intervals are set for 1 min every 5 hours. I live in Colorado, and was told by the reptile store here that will be enough for daily misting and water consumption. The misters are set up misting on live/fake plants so it is natural, also I set up Bamboo sticks to take him straight to them so he can drink directly. However, I am still worried thats not enough. Again my chameleon seems health is moving around his cage and eating when I feed him. I just haven't seen him drink.

I rarely see my chameleons drink. I monitor their hydration by keeping an eye on their urates (the white portion of their poop) it should be pearly white. I also monitor the humidity levels with digital hygrometer/thermometers. If you want to see them drink then longer periods of misting or showers* are good at stimulating the drinking response and eye cleaning. I think dry mountain air might take 1 min every 4 hrs during the day.
*(Place a large plant in the tub, aim the shower head against the wall, and run the water so that only a fine mist reaches the chameleon. The water should be room temperature (not hot!). They may drink for up to 30 minutes. Make sure to supervise your chameleon at all times)
