If i remember correctly olimpia posted something for me to go by for when my female has a clutch as of lately she has been going down to the bottom of the set up i haver her in and scratching but she has been eating she hasnt stopped and usually after a couple of minutes of scratching on the bottom then stopping and sitting on a vine at the bottom she goes back up is it a huge possibility she has eggs to lay i saw her doing it today just a little while ago and yesterday
 
Do you have an opaque container of washed playsand at least 2" x 12" x 8" in her cage for her to dig in? Does she see you watching her when she's digging? If she does she will abandon the digging thinking that its not a safe place to lay the eggs.

Not all females stop eating when they are near egglaying time.
 
see the thing is ive had her in a such a small tank not even a cage i had to have my pet store order them which im going to do im going to put something in her new cage so she does have something to do so would it be a problem if i waited until mon cause thats when all my plants and stuff is going to come for my new cage o_O as of now the conatainer of play sand which i need to get would def be way to big for her enclosure
 
will there be a large buldge at the back of her body by her tail/back legs if she has eggs ?
 
Yes that bulge describes a gravid female. She needs a laying bin. If you can't fit one in her cage set up a bin to put her in outside the cage. A 5 gal bucket with play sand in the bottom will work. Just make sure she can't get out of the bucket. I would direct a light on the upper part of the bucket during the day to keep her warm. Make sure the sand or soil is damp such that you can dig a tunnel and it doesn't collapse. I would start a tunnel for her so she knows what it is for. Checking on her is ok as long as SHE CAN'T SEE YOU. If she does see you she may stop trying to lay, become egg bound and possibly die. If you have room in the bucket, trash can or what ever you use, a small plant or a stick that she can crawl up on is good, but again make sure she can't get out. Let us know how it goes. Mist her really well tomorrow morning before you move her to the laying bin as she really needs to drink.
 
It is possible, but less likely. If you could take a couple pictures from the top looking down and a couple side shots, we might be able to offer more advice. What kind, age, and size is your chameleon?

She's a panther not sure what type of panther she is shes about 4-5 months old and shes about i would say from head to tail 6 7 inch maybey a little smaller ill have some pictures taken of her right now cause i want to know asap so i can get what i need for her tomorrow if she is or has a clutch ready to pop out
 
It is possible at 4 - 5 months but not likely. Since she doesn't look big, i would think she is not gravid. paul it is 2 AM here and I an going to bed. When I get up we can talk about other possible causes for her behavior. You need some sleep too.

truth be told its 4 am over here o_O will def talk to you tomorrow thank you for your help thus far
 
Good morning, yes I knew it was 2 hours later for you that is why I said get some sleep. So next if you have a scale, you need to weight her, tell he her cage size, temps, humidity, and how often and what she eats.

Hello, she doesn't look gravid at all to me.....how big is her cage, she might just feel like going for a roam......

her cage/tank is very small im waiting to get my plants and stuff so i can put her in an actuall cage which is 16wx16Lx29 3/4 height this one is no where close to being as big as the new one put it this way i could fit the one shes in right now inside the new one with no problems at all -_-
 
I might be being dense here, but she looks good, and she's eating fine. I think it's just a space issue. Your little girl is growing up, lol
 
lol possibly im still gonna go get the play sand any way cause my stuff for my new set up for her and the new guy im going to be getting is coming in tomorrow and would a tupa ware container be good enough to leave in the bottom of her cage and it has to be 12''x12"x12" just asking cause the cage is only 16 in wide and long it has more height to it then anything
 
Yeah, that's a minimum size laying bin. She'll usually want to stay near the top of the cage anyway, so it takes up less usable room than you'd think......
 
even tho im gonna wash the sand could it be harmful to her if she goes to catch her food and gets sand on her tongue or anything like that o_O
