Hello everyone,
Alright, first off, 3 weeks from tomorrow I purchased my first veiled chameleon, Delilah.
I would say she is about 3months old. She has grown significantly since I have brought her (She probably has doubled her size almost) home and she finally had her first shed about a week ago. Alright, so ive just been wondering on really how much should I be feeding her... I know you are suppose to limit their food intake after a certain point... i think 6months? Right now she is eating quite a bit... She eats around 15, 3/8'' crickets in the morning at 8am. After misting during the afternoon (12ish) I usually give her around 5-10 medium phoenix worms, which she goes crazy over. Then I feed her another 15, 3/8'' crickets around 6pm. She is seriously a pig and will just keep eating until I stop feeding her... but i never go over that amount...
Now my two questions are #1 Am I over-feeding/under-feeding her right now? #2 At what age should I reduce her food intake? Thanks everyone for all your help with everything! You all have been great!
