Nebula's new clutcH????

My ambanja panther female, Nebula, laid a clutch on October 20, 2008. 12 of those eggs seem to be fertile and doing well. She originally laid 20 - 8 of them shriveled up. I found her butt up in her sand pail this morning. She seemed to be getting plump and had been restless the last couple of day and nights. I am assuming that these eggs are from retained sperm as I have not mated her since September 2008. I am waiting for her to finish laying and hopefully find fertile eggs. I will keep you posted!

Congrats, hope the new clutch goes well.
And I am interested in Ambanjas, so can you post a pic of your male for interests sake.

Thanks

Thats great!!! I usually have a few eggs that go bad from the "retained" clutches. I also usually have a few that go full term but shrivel up when the rest are hatching. Cut them open and its just yolk no embryo. Its kinda funny that she was bred in September and now laying her retained clutch today. I bred my female and she laid september 17. She just layed a retained clutch yesterday!!!! Our ladies are on the same schedule:) I hope all goes well with the eggs.

Well, Nebula has laid 24 eggs!!! So far, all look perfect! She is eating well this morning too. She looks extremely skinny now. She worked sooo hard digging all day yesterday, and was still covering her eggs last night around 10:00. I know she is worn out.
