...is this weekend in Anaheim and planning to go on Sunday to say hi to people and get crickets and not sure what else. Are you going?...

We might go. I don't need anything but it is close so we may go look around.

I'll be there, working. Will be showing a few different mantis, and luna moth caterpillers. If layout is same as last year, I'll be to the right of Slayer's Kerry King's snakes.

Just the caterpillars, and by the looks of it a cacoon or two. I had to add more fresh leaves last night, cause they are eating and growing fast. You would of seen the Moths at the Pomona show last month, and these are the offspring of them. Or I should say, you would of seen them Saturday of the show. The luna moths had sold out by Sunday morning.

What leaves do you feed them? If not to hard to keep I'll buy a couple. I saw some in Saint Louis the two times I went there. I brought a bunch of fireflys in two jars -that's when you could pack fruit, meats and stuff and the airport security would not check -, but died soon after I put them in an old aquarium I had...I think it was the low moisture that killed them...

What leaves do you feed them?

I raise them on sweetgum tree leaves, or liquid amber trees is what we call them here, in the west.

I got some Luna moths from Steve, and just check them and they almost done eating all the leaves! So tomorrow morning a trip to the park is in order to collect leaves. Thanks Steve, I'll keep you updated on the bugs, mantis and moths.
