Chameleon Queen
In terms of last few years there had been several cases of humans developing CANV and it was a concern to me...finally a paper indicating that the reptile forms of CANV are not contagious to humans...the Parsons and lateralis mentioned here were mine...

Glad to share.

When we were working with the Parsons chameleon we were first told it was trichophyton (ring worm) and wondered if any of us would catch it...but we didnt. (whew!) It moved through several other "identifications" before finally being named Nannizziopsis vriesii.

When the second chameleon showed up with it we were more careful having learned from experience.
