Name this Bug

Found this guy buzzing around last night during our 4th of July BBQ. Seriously strange critter. Any one know what kind of beetle it might be? I live in Bend, Oregon if that helps.

HOLY CRAP!!! that thing is weird looking.......It looks like soemthing from alice and wonderland or something.....MAybe its some sort of June bug......Did it try to bite you???

its a june bug, he must be comfortable because his antennae are fully extended, they dont normally fan them out like that though.

Comfortable? I slapped him out of the air. More like STUNNED!! He flew off after a bit. Real noisy little flapper.

Yep a common June Bug! I think they do that to check out the pheromones
in the air or somethin.
