I was going to wait until I had these guys for a week to 10 days to acclimate them before posting this but they look so good that I just can't resist sharing these pictures.

I have been working on this for a year almost to the day. They are all CBB and I have 4 unrelated that I'm keeping for myself. I got some for some others here and they will be very happy as they are all bigger and better then I expected. This is just a teaser and I will not be able to post more Picts until I get back home next week as I'm out of town celebrating my 30th anniversary to my fantastic wife. For those of you lucky enough to be getting some of these you will be VERY VERY HAPPY!!!!!!!!! This is soooooo fantastic I just don't know what to think!!! Enjoy the pictures and many more to come. I do have 1 extra pair for some LUCKY person.
WOOHOO :<)

The waiting is finally over! They are worth the wait, they a gorgeous. I am so glad you brought them in.I hope all the people getting them will update us with pictures so we can watch them bloom.

Thanks Laurie!!! The only one that I can tell anyone about is Bobby who got a pair. The others who got some May or may not but it's not for me to tell. I hope that they will share as well but some might not want to and that's up to them. I can't tell you how much I stressed over every hour they were in transit and the cites was a pain in the rear as few of these have come into this country in a while but it has all come together and all is well/ fantastic!!!:D this has been a very good Cham week for me with these guys and the new baby Jacksoni.
Btw you are up late aren't you!!!

More like next to none of these have come in since 1995 with CITES paperwork. I never expected to see an order or shipment of these make it to the USA again. Congratulations. Keep posting the pictures.

Thanks Jeremy,it was ALOT and at times we just didn't know if it would happen but kept trying and as they say (even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while) :D it was definitely time to get some of these into this country and put them in the hands of experienced keepers so we can get a good cbb population started here. I'm very excited with those who chose to get some of these as I think they will do well. We have 5 blood lines to work with (don't ask) that was a big part of the pain in the rear but hey it's done.

they look SO nice - congrats on all of them - if one should happen to fall into BB's box when you ship him next week, well, then hey, that would be fine :p ;) I am so excited for you, and all the people getting them, the pix to come are sure to be GREAT ! :)

Congrats Steve on both the Yellow lips and the anniversary! They do look like a nice healthy size! I can't wait to get my pair ;)

Yes I was up late and now I am up early. What is wrong with this picture? Happy 30th. David and I hit 25th in March.

Steve,

The one bright orange one looks sickly..I will take him and nurse him back to health.

I care.:)

Congrats! That is awesome man! I will be sending you some hissers next week so you have another large feeder to add to your extensive list.

Dumb question:

How do you develop a good semi non impbred population with 4 (or even 10) unrelated individuals? 1-male 2 =male 3=female 4= female

31=5
41=6

32=7
42=8

52=9
62=10

71=11
81=12

wow steve. you're really taking this cham thing too far. you need to stop now. ;) great looking animals and thumbs up all around.

Congrats everyone! I can't wait to watch these guys grow!

Assuming ALL of them are completely unrelated, they would max out at 4 generations at most.. But, it would be at least a decade before they ever got to that point, if they did...

By then, there's a possibility you could see a quota for WC(Given Madagascar takes a turn for the better.) And at that point you could introduce fresh blood.

If that makes any sense :p
