My view

Good morning to you all. Champ my veiled and I just had the pleasure of seeing a beautiful sunrise this morning. He is flattened out under the basking bulb trying to warm up and I am on the couch with the dogs. Champs hibiscus is flowering as well as the Christmas cactus.

The sunrise was beautiful with blue, oranges, reds, and violets. Did anyone else see it?

The wind turbine in the back is spinning good, so it must be a bit breezy out there.

Champ just got new batch of crix, supers, and dubia so he is set for the day. I wonder if he is happy. He seems happy, but he does roam around his cage a lot. Looking for a way out I think. He is in a 24x24x48 but I wish I could do better.

My two dogs are looking at me, animals can sense things. I'm waiting for the pain meds to finally kick in and take the edge off.

After a failed back surgery, twenty some epidural shots, burning nerves in the facet joints, rehabilitation, three weeks in a pain clinic in a different state, loss of job, and now a spinal stimulator I needed a hobby. Something to take my mind away from the constant pain and frustration. Enter Champ the cham. I've spent hours and hours researching which has helped keep my mind off off things. I'm spending like the federal government on this guy, seems like. So far it's been worth it. But still I wonder if he is happy.

I've had champs in the past but never a veiled. I had these guys when there wasn't a Cham forums. I have to say it is a lot easier reading what works and why from people that are way smarter than me.

Anyway have a good day
Ben

I can sympathize with your back problems, my wife has had two back surgeries in the last 5 years. Great picture!

I'm not sure if he's happy, but I bet he enjoys the view!

Hope the meds help a bit. Back pain is never good. (Like I would have to tell you )

So sorry to hear about your back and all the pain. Any chance of it getting any better eventually? I hope Champ can continue to dull the pain for you.
The photo is beautiful.

Hoping for a miracle, thanks for the support! Champ is a wonderful distraction though I tend to be obsessive when it comes to his care. The picture was taken with my iPhone, mother nature deserves the credit for the rest.

I am sorry you are having such problems with your back. I had a herniated disc before and thought I would go out of my mind with the pain, so cannot imagine what you are going and have gone through. Glad you got a chameleon! I can watch them for hours. They are so interesting. Your set up looks very nice!
