My pothos plant

Just bought one yesterday, from Lowes. It's in a small pot (the plant itself is rather small) but it has a stick for the leaves/vines to grow on. It appears to be wrapped in a sort of hay straw kind of decoration. Big deal or no ?

Take it out, wash the leaves several times in soapy dishwater and rinse well. Then repot in a smooth plastic or clay pot. Put large rocks/gravel over the dirt so the cham can accidentally eat it, and so the crickets cant get to it and turn it into a cricket farm.

I cleaned the plant up. Gonna re-soil as well. My bigger concern Is the stick holding the plant. If I take it off , it's gonna droop.

Pothos is a vine. It's meant to droop. If you don't want to utilize it in that way, you can always string the vines along any branches/vines you already have in your enclosure and they will grow down off of those.

That is what I do in my smaller enclosures since having a vine at the bottom of the cage is pointless. In my free range, I hang the planters from the ceiling and they droop down so the chams can climb on them.
