My Panther Girls

Females get no love sometimes. Personally, I think my girls are super pretty. I love the pinks they show, and the camera doesn't do them any justice.

Alina is the first one. She is from Drcrossfire's Romeo. SHe just developed her big girl colors.
Arina is the second one. She is from Drcrossfire's Chompers. She is currently ( I believe) gravid with an infertile clutch. This is her second clutch, her first was also infertile, and she only laid 15 eggs.

They are so pretty. I love my girl too. She is always willing to visit with me and will let me hand feed her.

Arina is very laid back, chill, doesn't mind me in her cage if im slow with my movements.

Alina, is my firecracker. shes all over the place. gets testy, wants things her way, loves to eat.. shes so fully of energy.

I would give anything to have the prettiest pink and purple female but I get a little scared thinking about pregnacy, egg laying and all that. I have stuck to males for this reason... hopefully one day I will be more comfortable with it becuase they really are very beautiful!

Your girls are very pretty! I would love a female but the whole egg-laying thing has me nervous...

The egg laying issue isn't as scary as it seems.

As long as you provide her with a proper place to lay, she does the rest.

there can be some complications, but those are uncommon.

my female veiled laid 3 clutches with no issues what so ever.

arina laid her first clutch without any issues as well.

You're right... Females need more love! And It's really hard to capture those pastels in a photo~

They are looking great Jessica! Can't wait to see the babies they produce!

Both of them are so pink and peach colored in real life, that I wish I had a camera that could pick that up.

THe girls are fantastic, they don't get enough credit. I know the egg thing scares some people away, but its not that bad.

For camimom: try using the vivid setting on your camera. it may sound like cheating, but when you see the outcome, you will realize it looks more like them. i too agree, the female orange and pink is by far prettier. they really aren't any more work than the males. high maintenance category doesn't really apply for these ladies.

I will try that, I don't consider it cheating since Im not a photographer. haha!

I don't think they are more work, slightly more worrisome around egg time, but not that bad. the hardest part was the first time with each girl. after they had a successful lay their first time, I didn't worry hardly at all with the rest of them.
