My panther chameleons spine area has turned white ?!

My male panther chameleons spine area has turned white, but it doesn't look like he's starting to shed or anything is on him cause I ran my fingers along his side and it felt like his normal skin ?

I would have to guess he will be shedding soon. Doesn't look like it is a burn or anything.

make sure his body is misted/wetted regularly and he’ll be shedding in the next few days. it’s not an unusual way to begin a shed.
