Hello and welcome! My main suggestion to you is to add WAY more foliage(plants) in your enclosure! It is way too bare. If you choose live plants let us know what you are going to use as Veilds like to eat plants and you have to make sure that they are not poisonous.

Well yes my intention is to put 3 more plants in the cage in the next few days, now i have only a ficus plastica inside and i know is not enough,i was thinking even on some little ones on the floor because yesterday i've put topsoil on the floor for the humidity do you guys think it's ok?Again thanks for the reply's:D

Another question, i've never seen it drinking water from the foliage or anything else even if i have a dipper over the plant does it look well hidrated to you?

Hi there! I too worry about my chameleons hydration cus I never ever see him drink but if u check his poop and the urate is white and not yellowish/orange, he should be drinking while ur not looking! That's what I'm observing for my Cham. And you mentioned using calcium w d3. That should be used twice a month and since u didn't specify I thought I'd just point it out,and with natural sunlight everyday u may not even need d3! Handsome guy u got there btw!

Thank you for the reply, yes the poop is black with white in the end , and about the D3 i use it every 2 weeks.yeah is really a handsome one and he's getting used with me allready, every time i lean my hand toward him he grabs me with his little 'hands'.he enjoy's to stay on my hand and on the window every day to get some sun while i'm drinking my coffe:D

I would remove the dirt. They can eat it and become sick. Using live plants will help with humidity, The dirt will get yucky from the mistings and dripping. Make sure you cover your soil in your potted plants with large enough rocks that your chameleon cannot swallow. He looks very healthy and handsome!

I removed the dirt and i'm gonna put some rocks on the floor and undernieth papertowels,i received a plant today and i want to ask if is good or not for the chameleon because i don't know the name but it looks like a kind of Ficus to me....
