The photo is poor quality, making it hard to determine. Can you take better photos? I would say it's a boy... but I would need to see more pics.

i have more pics of him in my album but idk how to add another pic without making another thread.?

i looked but didnt see any....but im not sure if its just me and cant tell...im still kind of new to the chameleon world.

Looks like a male from the crest, but knowing the age would help a LOT. At his (her?) size, a spur should be pretty apparent. Right out of the egg, they are tiny, but by the time they are as big as that seems to be, it's not terribly hard to spot.

the person i got him from told me it was about 2/3 months old....and im still pretty sure that there arent spurs i can take pics of him/her back feet?

Hi, had a look through you album :) Lovely chams you have there

I would say she is a female but i'm not 100%, in pic 9 you could see faint barring.

Not to side track the thread or anything but could you post some pics of the enclosure? I think there are a few things tou need to address for them th be completely happy and healthy.

Ruru, don't use "quick reply". Click on the button that says "POST REPLY". That screen will let you "attach" multiple pictures from your computer. Just click the icon that looks like a paperclip.

Based off looking at some of the photos you have in your album, I would have to say female. As stated earlier some of the coloring is really faint in pictures and this usually is how females color is.

I agree, it looks female based off those pics. Also in those pcis I noticed that you have substrate in her cage, you should remove that so she won't get impacted.

Where are y'all seeing more pics than that tiny one in the original post? And thanks for the substrate mention, Thompson! That just gave me a blog idea. :)

i have taken out the substrate awhile back ago i know they can get impacted. the ppl i bought her from had her in a tiny 10 gal tank w/coconut fiber as a substrate & never had a uvb light set up for it .... i know they arent supposed to be in a tank at all but i had ordered a huge mesh cage spent $350 on it and it ended up being a scam & i lost out on all my money so im saving up my pennies and im getting one from someone on here (titan) right now ruru ( bigger female ) is in a 55 gal tank w/screen lid and juju ( little one in the pic) is in a 50 gal both tanks have reptile carpet uvb & basking. but this set up is only temporary until i get the new set up. i let them both free range most of the day to avoid any problems. and thanks to everyone for the info!!! very usefull :)
