My heat bulb died in less than a month.

So I had a brand new zew med heating bulb. It basically died in 3 weeks, from what I understand they should last at least 6 months before replacing. Is this a situation where I should ask for a refund or will local pet stores not care?

Completely depends on the store and their policies. It's always worth a call to find out. Helps if you have your receipt.

Just a word....be careful when your misting goes off because if the water hits the hot bulb it can blow it. learned this the hard way. I have since adjusted the heads to where the mist hits

Just buy an household bulb next time as your baskinglight. I buy em in bulk for like 2euros each..
