Hey everyone

Some of you know that I have been trying to breed my Veileds for a very long time but have always had problems, and my male was never interested in my females.
So I went to Paul R`s place (forum member) with my females and we mated his male with on of my females for the day, they successfully copulated 4 times, but she didnt go black, we thought it was enough for the day (the male also wasent following her anymore) so she was taken out and we will try my other female next week and test if the first one that was mated is still receptive so then we will leave her with the male again.
And we will keep doing so each week until both are unreceptive and gravid.

But I think Squidge (first mated) is definetely gravid, so I am feeding both well, supplementing more calcium and they are going out in the sun everyday for 5-6 hours.

I am also going to start building my incubator.

I could expect to have 90+ eggs.
And yes I am prepared with all the feeding of the little hatchlings, I know how to get fruit flies, and I will be feeding them pin head crickets and baby roaches.
This is quite exciting.

Thanks for reading and good luck to anyone else who is breeding their chameleons.

Veiled hatchlings are eating machines !!!!!!!! Your gonna need alot of feeders and they grow fast 90 your gonna need alot of room haha :D goodluck to you hope it goes well.:)

Yes, but not looking forward to the long wait, but I think its all worth it.
I hope it goes well, I am nervous about the laying, digging to get the eggs and doing the incubation right, I hope I do.
Yeah Paul can also get me crickets for R7 a tub appose to R16 a tub!
Yeah its not hard for me to hatch my own crickets, so thats fine but I cant raise the crickets (not that patient).
Mealworms are also easy, and to get fruit flies Im going to put some fruit slices in a jar and they are in the jar in like 1 day, full of them.

But I realy hope they dig and lay because this will be their first time laying and I hope they know what they are doing.

Will keep everyone posted.
- Thanks
