How long do I keep the eggs in the incubator???

how often do I check the moister of the vermiculate???

at what temp do i keep the incubator at???

I am pretty sure they lay like the veilds. Leave her in complete privacy or she may abandon laying! It takes about 9 months for the eggs to hatch. This I know because I read on a website about people who hatched out flapneck eggs. Here is a quote from member Jann B's blog on what to do with the eggs after they are laid "To incubate the eggs put them in a plastic Tupperware shoe box with about 3 inches of moist vermiculite and keep them in a closet where the temps with be around 76 degrees. I punch two tiny holes in the lid. To test for moisture, take a fist full of the vermiculite and squeeze it, if no more than a drop or two of water comes out then the moisture level should be okay. Do not turn the eggs as you move them from where they were laid to the container. Lay them in rows about an inch apart in all directions in shallow dents made with your thumb in the vermiculite. Put the lid on and place them in a dark place where the temperature is between 72-78 F. Moisture will form on the sides of the container and underside of the lid. It takes about 8 to 9 months for the eggs to hatch. It they are not fertile they will mold over in a couple of weeks".

ok thanks I will do that my room temp is at 75 degrees everyday I will put them in the closet tomorrow when i wake up to make sure she has all the time to do her deed or in a couple of days don't know how long it will take for her to put them all out.

well I just went in to turn off the lights to in my cham room for the night my little flapneck she was still digging away deep i her box so i just left her light and heat lamp on. man is the hole she digging deep i put 6 inches of vermiculate in it and she has dug herself a burrow i think monday i'll take the box out and put it in the closet.

Let her lay the eggs, fill in the hole, tamp it down and return to the branches before you dig the eggs up.

You can check the eggs every few days to see it they are moist enough...but only leave the lid off for a few seconds.

Follow what Carol said that Jann said to do as far as setting them up for incubation and incubating them.

oh i plan on it thats why i'm gonna waite till monday to see if she is done making her burrow man she digs fast she was going to town on it.

is it common for for the chameleon to be stressed out after laying eggs cause i just checked up on betty and she seem really dark right now but she is now covering up her eggs!!!

OOO WOW!! Congrats!!! Ya I would ddefinitely think that is a tiresome job. Give her plenty of water and food when she is finished!

u could just put her in the shower and let the water fall lightly on her should come off. or try spraying her with a mister

lol if shes mad cause she just got done doing all that work i would prolly just leave her be for a little while and then try to go back later and spray her down.
