Heres a pic of it. I feed him 8-10 crickets a day in 3-5 quantity intervals. And i use calcium powder with them. With superworms in between meals recently since i ran out of wax worms. The lady at the pet store said i dont need to cut there heads off anymore but that looks like blood to me. Idk. For any other info on Leon, check out my page. I have a chameleon care chart filled out. Please give me some answers. I will respond as soon as i can

How many wax worms do you feed, and do you feed them daily? You supplement with " calcium powder" can you be more specific please?

No i dont feed them daily. I would switch up on wax, super, and meal worms every day. But i just recently ran out and i have been feeding him superworms as treats in between cricket servings. I dont coat the worms with calcium powder but i catch his crickets and put em in a bag with the powder and usualy put a heavy or light coat on the crickets everytime i feed them to him, depending on when i put more powder in the bag.

First of all that is not blood so don't freak out. The poop looks fine and that little bit of orange is normal and part of the urate. Also, don't listen to the people at the petstore. They don't know what they are talking about and the superworm thing is a total myth that they will eat through the stomach if you don't cut the heads off. I don't think you find one member on here that will agree with that statement or has had any type of experience with that.

Wax worms should only be given occasionally as they have a very high fat content. Your supplement regime should be a very light dusting of plain calcium daily. Calcium with d3 twice a month and multivitamin twice a month unless you are using an all in one like Repeshey calcium plus.

Thanks guys. Alot of help lol. And ok ill get on buyen the vitamins he needs. Ill post a pic of the calcium stuff im using now.

Sorry i uploaded that using my smart phone. But dont worry its Cal-Stron, lil black bag that says "Reptile calcium with bone building strontium". Computers bein gay and is taken forever to upload the pic.

Don't have experience in that one but I'm sure a more knowledgable member will be along shortly to help you.
