Hello,
I've had my Chameleon since he was about one month old and he recently got a little bump on his side. I hadn't grown, but it is just the smallest thing. He's about four months old. I was hoping someone could help me figure out what is is. I can't finna any posts about anything like it, I am growing a bit concerned. He eats and drinks perfectly fine, but I don't want it to develop into anything serious.https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B21zMuXtGeGXSTAzanRma1d0ZU0 the link should be a picture of it

It could be an abscess. tumor, cancer, papilloma virus or something else. I recommend a vet visit. Do you already have a good vet for your chameleon? If not then I might be able to help you locate one with reptile experience.

I'd actually love some advice on good vets, I live in a small town so we really don't have anything here

Here is a slightly better picture of it

As jannb listed above it could be anything at this point. A good vet will be able to give you more info with a needle aspirate or a biopsy. If you are going anyway this will be a good time to get a fecal done. Try to take a fresh poop sample with you.

The only vet their that even mentioned Reptiles was Dr. Konsella and it said something like Reptiles and all other small mammals.
