I have a female veiled chameleon that wont eat out of her feeding cup,it is a small deli cup that you put condiments in,so far she hasn't touched the mealworm or the three crickets I put in it:confused:

free range feeders?

leave the cup in the cage and leave her be?

it sometimes take a while for them to feel secure with you to feed from a container in your hands. some chams wont ever cup feed.

try shaking the cup so the insects move around more..maybe this will catch ur chams attention..if not id leeve the cu inside the cage and just let it be...cham. are really really shy so it ill take a while..how old is ur cham?

Hi,

Is this the cham you just got last Friday? If so it might take her a week or two to settle in and eat. Mine took a good 2 weeks or so before they were consistent. Some keepers are lucky and they eat and drink right straight away.

Just keep up her hydration with lots of mistings and give her some privacy.

How old is she?

maybe offer her a feeder that flys, like a house, or butter, or damsel, or fruit, or dragon, or horse...fly.

If she's new in your home she maybe shy, just make sure she's hydrated and getting plenty of fluids, my Cleo took a week or two to eat free range but learned to cup feed pretty quickly and eats 12-15 crickets a day :)
