My cham is like Ghandi

Ok, so.... I posted a thread about force feeding a while back and that went well...I stopped force feeding because I hear that increases stress, so I cut that out... I have not force feed in about 5 days and I dont think he has eatin. I also have a feeder cup underneath his favorite basking spot still, no luck. I have crickets in with him free ranging ( all perfect size) too but all still seem to be still there. I mist his viv 3 times a day and temps are perfect. He has plenty of hiding places and has plenty of alone time. He is turning brown...To me as of now with the luck of my first cham, they seem more stressful than enjoyable. What do I do?? HAHAHAHA!!! Right after I posted this thread I went downstairs and misted and threw a few more crickets in his viv.. I stared and looked at him with a broken heart.. Then the little guy started moving and all the sudden these bright blue dots shot across his body and he climbed a bit and POW! He snagged his first cricket on his own!!! I'm soooo happy, yay!!!

grats on him eating infront of you.
you must be so happy.

personaly, if he doesn't keep this up and starts to realy eat well in the future, I would take him to a vet and see if there is something wrong.
I'm suprised if others didn't aready say this to you.

I'm glad things have gotten better. I'm also happy that things will now be easyer for you. but you might not be out of the woods just yet if there is a problem that is causing him not to want to eat on his own.

Hooray! Some take longer than others to acclimate, and he may have been sneaking a cricket here and there. A fecal may not be a bad idea.

Aww! I'm so glad you finally got him to eat on his own and you actually saw him do it too! :D Aren't they great?! The tongue comes out and 'KAPOW!' bye bye cricket, lol!

I'm glad he started to eat! Good luck with everything else that comes with chameleons :)
