what should i do if my cham has sort of a pot belly and is getting a lil overweight. should i feed him less or is there anything specific to do.

Is he eating every day? Does he weigh a lot? Do the fat pads look like they are about to POP? If you answered yes to any of these questions you may want to consider skipping days every now and then between feedings.
My adult male panthers eat every other day, or you could try skipping every third day. An obese chameleon isn't necessarily a healthy one, the extra weight could develop a myriad of life shortening complications that could be avoided by maintaining the appropriate weight. :D

:D sounds like a good plan! I know many keepers who put their adult veilds on an every day feeding schedule. You just need to ensure that the dusting schedule appropriately correlates to match the feeding schedule ;)

From what i have noticed is when chams are just perching they may look like they are fat but really thats where they let it all hang out in a way. they are simply just relaxing and letting it hand out....

i have tweaked his dusting schedule bec he had white crusties so i got dat covered.
he also could also letting it all hang out idk.
