My 1st panther baby

Dear all,

8 months ago, my female panther laid 17 eggs but it turned out 3 of them didn't get mold.

After exact 8 months, 1st panther baby hatched. This is really great experience for me. Now it eats fly well.

The 2nd one hatched one months later. Actually the egg broke itself, I have to take it out by my hand. When it was taken out, it seems to be in a state of sleeping. But after 5 minutes, it became so active.

Is there any risk of the 2nd baby?

Congrats!!! Your babies should be just fine. The eggs won't open by themselves, the babies have to pip the eggs open. When my last egg was hatching it took almost two days from when the egg was slit open. I was worried and helped the little one out. Same results, looked like he was sleeping, but popped up on his feet after a couple of minutes. The most critical time is the first few weeks. Once they start eating and gaining some size, most of your worries will be over. Good luck!!!
